Human Rights Commission’s ‘silence deafening’ on antisemitism

Former competition regulator Graeme Samuel has taken aim at the Human Rights Commission for its “deafening silence” on the rise of antisemitism, backing former treasurer Josh Frydenberg’s warning that politicians had “gone missing”.

Domestic political tensions have intensified this week after the phrase “Jew die” was spray-painted onto the walls of Mount Scopus Memorial College in Melbourne, one of the largest Jewish schools in the country.
