Australians are “intolerant on failure,” former Commonwealth Bank chairwoman and Australia Day honours recipient Catherine Livingstone says, urging business leaders to do more to build an innovative economy.

Made a Companion of the Order of Australia in this year’s Australia Day honours, Ms Livingstone was recognised for driving innovation and for her services to business, particularly in governance and strategic reform, across science, education and the arts.
