Housing groups representing the nation’s most needy are urging the Greens to declare victory over the Albanese government and pass its $10 billion affordable housing fund.

With parliament to rise on Thursday for the five-week winter break, the Greens will decide on Monday whether to drop their resistance after Prime Minister Anthony Albanese injected an extra $2 billion into public housing over the weekend.
