Governor-General joins criticism of Morrison’s secret ministries
Governor-General David Hurley has joined the criticism of Scott Morrison’s five secret ministries, saying he assumed the then-prime minister would have made them public.
As Mr Morrison rejected calls to quit parliament and said he was prepared to front a fair-minded inquiry into his handling of COVID-19, General Hurley said his role was limited to acting on the advice of the government of the day, as he is required to do.
