Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has suffered a big hit to his primary vote but it has not fallen low enough to cost him his Melbourne seat of Kooyong, Liberal Party sources say.
Mr Frydenberg scored a 58 per cent primary vote in his affluent inner-Melbourne seat at the 2016 election to hold the seat with a crushing 63 per cent two-party-preferred vote.
