Frydenberg’s task to snare 3500 votes and win back Kooyong

Former federal treasurer Josh Frydenberg will need to win about 3500 more primary votes than he did in 2022 if he is to take back the seat of Kooyong at the next election.

But pollster Kos Samaras said changing demographics in the once-blue-ribbon Melbourne electorate could make achieving the swing difficult, due to an ongoing influx of younger voters.
