Forum to tackle nationwide coercive control and sexual assault laws

Moves to criminalise coercive control and improve responses to sexual assault will be discussed by the nation’s attorneys-general on Friday, in the first in-person talks in more than two years.
Federal Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus will host his state and territory counterparts in Melbourne for the meeting, which will also be attended by New Zealand Justice Minister Kiri Allan.
