A man has died after his car was swept away by floodwater in south-west Sydney, and flood-fatigued residents of NSW have been urged to heed the weather warnings as they head into the school holidays.
More than 1200 people were told to evacuate, some for the second time in two months, and a further 1500 people were on notice that they may need to leave soon.
