Firms led by women to get bigger slice of $70b federal spending

Finance Minister Katy Gallagher says the federal government will use its $70 billion purchasing power to drive procurement from female-owned and -run companies.
Senator Gallagher said the government would work with companies on a voluntary basis to ensure more of the winning bids for government contracts fall to companies led by women.
