The Family Court will extend a landmark program for “high-risk” cases after discovering that family violence in Australia is vastly underreported.

Chief Justice Will Alstergren said the Lighthouse Project would be rolled out in 12 registries of the Federal Circuit and Family Court across Australia from Monday after encouraging results during a two-year trial in three venues.
