Ex-chief justice lashes ‘resentful’ No campaign

Former High Court chief justice Robert French will lash the No case for the Voice referendum, saying its “don’t know, vote No” slogan is “a poor shadow of the spirit which drew up our Constitution”.
Mr French also calls the labelling of the Voice as a “Canberra bureaucracy” – a key argument of Opposition Leader Peter Dutton – a hollow term of abuse which is typical of politics today.
