Coalition at odds with itself over the Voice
The federal Coalition is at odds with itself over the Indigenous Voice to parliament with Nationals leader David Littleproud refusing to endorse an alternative proposal by Peter Dutton, and deputy federal Liberal Leader Sussan Ley taking issue with NSW state Liberal leader Mark Speakman’s support.
With Australians to go to the polls in early spring to vote on enshrining in the Constitution the recognition of Indigenous people, and a Voice to parliament, Mr Dutton, who opposes the latter, is urging people to vote No at the referendum.
