Billionaire politician Clive Palmer has been taken to hospital in Queensland with signs of illness, days after reporting “flu-like symptoms”.

A spokesman for the miner and United Australia Party senate candidate told The Australian Financial Review Mr Palmer had been taken to the Pindara Private Hospital on the Gold Coast on Thursday to be tested for COVID-19.
