Tehan joins the front line in the dispute with China

Cabinet minister Dan Tehan will join the front line in the dispute with China after he was shifted to the trade portfolio in a reshuffle Scott Morrison said was deliberately minimalist to maintain stability and consistency in volatile times.
The reshuffle, necessitated by the resignation of Mathias Cormann last month, resulted in Alan Tudge taking over the education portfolio from Mr Tehan.
