Billionaires and business to pay for Greens’ $240b in promises
The Greens will push the price tag for their recently announced economic and social welfare policies past $240 billion on Wednesday, with party leader Adam Bandt to unveil a policy expanding Medicare to cover dental services.
Appearing at the National Press Club on Wednesday, Mr Bandt will release Parliamentary Budget Office costings estimating universal access to dental care would cost taxpayers about $8 billion a year.
