Australia to join Pacific security talks, without Biden

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has been sent for talks between Pacific Island leaders and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which are set to include Australia’s Minister for International Development and the Pacific, Pat Conroy.
Despite President Joe Biden cancelling his attendance at talks between Pacific Island Forum countries in Port Moresby on Monday, Mr Blinken and senior officials will take part.
