Former federal Labor minister Joel Fitzgibbon asked a sharp question this week about plans by Andrew Forrest’s private company, Squadron Energy, to import LNG into NSW via its new terminal.

“Are you capitalising on the biggest public policy failure of my lifetime or saving us from it?” he asked Squadron executive Stuart Davis at the Domestic Gas Outlook Conference in Sydney.
