Australia bids a quiet farewell to a servant leader

Three days after her majesty Queen Elizabeth II was buried in London, far away in Canberra, in a little corner of the old empire, Australia officially bade farewell to its now former head of state.
On a public holiday declared for the occasion, the 700 dignitaries, judges, politicians and community stalwarts gathered in parliament’s Great Hall were told the Queen’s greatest defining attribute was her servant leadership.
