Asset Energy learned in May Morrison was the secret resources minister

The company behind the resource project Scott Morrison cancelled last year using secret ministerial powers learned in May that the former prime minister had supplanted Keith Pitt as resources minister.

Asset Energy was so perplexed by Mr Morrison’s intervention to cancel the PEP-11 gas exploration project off the NSW coast that it demanded an explanation from the incoming Labor government days after the federal election.
