Embattled Energy Minister Angus Taylor has accused author Naomi Wolf of making anti-semitic accusations against him, escalating a bizarre war of words over their time at Oxford University.

The prominent feminist writer and journalist wants Mr Taylor to correct the record after he recalled meeting her during his 2013 maiden speech to Parliament, claiming he first encountered political correctness in the early 1990s when Dr Wolf "lived a couple of doors down the corridor" at the prestigious university.
