Andrew Tillett

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has warned the Coalition and Greens against Senate obstructionism on the eve of the first sitting of the new parliament, saying Labor’s landslide election victory showed voters endorsed his government’s agenda.

Albanese said he was bringing back parliament earlier than its required August start date to implement Labor’s “ambitious” second-term agenda.
