Anthony Albanese says he will pick up a swag of seats in the battleground state of Queensland, insisting Peter Dutton could be turfed from parliament and Labor can win back inner Brisbane electorates lost to the Greens.
Taking the fight up to the Opposition Leader on the first full day of the election campaign, Albanese visited an urgent care medical clinic in Dutton’s own electorate of Dickson. He said Labor’s candidate, Ali France, had a real chance of overturning the 1.7 per cent margin to win.
