Anthony Albanese has brushed off criticism of Australia’s efforts to protect the Pacific from the effects of climate change, as King Charles warned Commonwealth leaders the lives and livelihoods of their citizens were at risk.
The King and the prime minister were among dignitaries in Samoa for the opening of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting on Friday, as Pacific leaders pushed the 56-member bloc to help stem rising sea levels.
