PM accuses China of trying to upend global order

Anthony Albanese will head to Beijing next week, fresh from accusing President Xi Jinping’s China of explicitly working to upend the global status quo.

The prime minister wrapped up a visit to Washington – in which he was feted as America’s key regional ally – with a speech declaring that his government was “clear-eyed” about the challenges ahead and would seek to lower the temperature between the two superpowers.
