Jones vows to fight charges as details emerge of new alleged assaults

Alan Jones will plead not guilty to more than 30 sexual assault charges and the retired broadcaster vowed to clear his name of what he called baseless allegations, in his first public remarks about the case.

Prosecutors added eight new charges against Mr Jones on Wednesday after another complainant – the 10th – came forward. The new charges came shortly before he appeared in court for the first time after his arrest in November.
