Dutton copies Albanese’s media strategy: say nothing

For four weeks, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has played it fairly loose during his daily press conferences – back-and-forth questions, long answers, the occasional scrap.

But on Saturday, that changed. Dutton imposed an Albanese-style mandate: one question per reporter. No follow-ups.
