Federal Labor MP Josh Burns has slammed the CFMEU for threatening a Jewish community group on behalf of a large building firm and warning that any union protest may also draw pro-Palestinian activists.

Mr Burns, who is Jewish, on Monday said conflating an industrial relations issue with the Israel-Palestinian conflict was “divisive and dangerous”.
