Great Barrier Reef Foundation chairman John Schubert says corporate Australia is "passionate" about fixing the reef and is willing to donate millions of dollars to help match the government money.
Dr Schubert defended the foundation against criticism of it receiving a $444 million grant from the Turnbull government, and said the money would be spent wisely to help protect the reef from the effects of climate change.
