A business leader blueprint for the Morrison government to repair the fractured relationship with China includes lifting investment barriers, tuning out to overly hawkish advisers, and wooing Xi Jinping with all its might.

Former Business Council of Australia president Graham Bradley said the Morrison government should extend an investment olive branch to China and stop listening to foreign policy hawks to show it is serious about repairing relations that threaten economic recovery post the COVID-19 pandemic.
