Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews defended cabinet minister Lily D’Ambrosio on Tuesday against allegations a Labor branch linked to her forged the signatures of dead people on membership forms to boost numbers.

Ms D’Ambrosio denied any wrongdoing and said she had “always abided by the rules”.
