China is about to get a taste of Western pop music through a deal between AWA Ltd and Radio Beijing which will put "easy listening" music on to the Chinese airwaves.

Decades after they made it big in the West, performers like The Beatles, Elvis, and Simon and Garfunkel are being broadcast to mass audiences on Radio Beijing.
