Science and Technology Australia CEO Misha Schubert has been tapped to lead a new superannuation policy and lobby group dominated by Labor and industry super heavyweights, bucking expectations an insider would get the job.

Ms Schubert has experience in journalism and advocacy for groups such as Universities Australia and the RECOGNISE movement for Indigenous inclusion in the Constitution.
