Fundamental change needed to get super funds up to scratch, APRA warns
The prudential watchdog has warned super funds they need to be “bold and brave” over the next 12 months to drastically ramp up their cybersecurity, unlisted asset valuation performance and customer service or risk enforcement action.
Australian Prudential Regulation Authority deputy chairwoman Margaret Cole said she was writing to funds this week and that some would need to fundamentally change their capabilities to get up to scratch.
