Boss of worst super fund tapped to join Cbus board

Union heavyweight Paddy Crumlin is set to join the board of construction superannuation fund Cbus, three years after the industry fund he previously chaired was judged to be the worst in the country and was forced to close.

Mr Crumlin was nominated to Cbus’ board on Friday by CFMEU administrator Mark Irving, KC, after the barrister sacked one of its union-appointed directors and two others resigned in a clean out.
