ASIC warns 13 worst super funds against lying about performance

The corporate regulator has warned the nation’s 13 worst super funds against providing their 1.1 million members with “misleading” information about their performance.

Thirteen funds have failed the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority’s inaugural superannuation performance test, including Commonwealth Bank’s in-house super product for its employees and the industry fund for Victorian independent school employees.
