CSG Limited has confirmed the sale of its information technology outsourcing and consultancy business to NEC Australia for as much as $260 million.

In an ASX announcement on Wednesday, CSG chairman Josef Czyzewski said the sale followed a strategic review and proceeds would be used to pay down debt and return capital to shareholders.
