The University of Technology Sydney will suspend all new enrolments in 120 bachelor and postgraduate programs from now to the second semester in 2026, which could signal the closure of two entire schools that offer courses in public health, education and international studies.
The “temporary suspensions” affect six faculties and include degrees for which the university has gained national recognition.
