Mike Baird, former NSW premier and chief executive of non-profit aged care services provider HammondCare, says it’s “time for action” on wages for the sector.

It comes as federal government data shows more than a third of coronavirus-related aged care deaths since the pandemic began have happened in 2022 alone.
