Australian university researchers working on projects jointly funded by US federal agencies have been sent a 36-point questionnaire by the Trump administration.

It asks researchers to declare any funding from China, Russia, Cuba or Iran; if the project relates to diversity, equity and inclusion; and whether it complies with the president’s two gender policy.
