Private unis get reprieve on JobKeeper eligibility

Some private universities wanting to access JobKeeper have been given a reprieve from onerous eligibility criteria placed on all other universities.

The Morrison government said the rule change was necessary because some providers had "less access to support from the Commonwealth", but Labor insisted there was "no excuse" for JobKeeper not being available to all universities after Friday's $60 billion "stuff-up".
