The NSW government will extend Sydney’s lockdown for another month with concessions for the construction industry, as builders raise concerns more than half their workforce will be stuck in hotspots in the city’s west and south-west.
Sydney had its worst day in the current outbreak with 172 fresh coronavirus cases and 79 people who were infectious in the community.
