The takeover battle for junior iron ore play Flinders Mines has taken another twist, with the Takeovers Panel now considering the situation.

In a statement on Friday, the Takeovers Panel said it had received an application from Geraldine Carter who claimed Flinders shares had not been trading in an efficient market.
