Flinders minorities win war for independents
Matthew StevensColumnistThe angry minorities of Flinders Mines have claimed another “comprehensive victory” in their iron ore wars with the cohort of billionaires that makes up New Zealand’s Todd family.
Having been frustrated in attempts to first take over and then delist an iron ore miner with a colourful past and a doubtful Pilbara future, the Todd family has now been moved to allow concessions to a more conventional governance regime at Flinders by seeding renewed independence on its board.
