The takeaway from international editor James Curran’s Questioning AUKUS series might be to wish that the most expensive and important defence project in the nation’s history wasn’t so fraught with big and real implementation risks and challenges.

But it might also be viewed as a timely warning for Canberra and its AUKUS partners in Washington and London to pull out all the stops to make sure Plan A works.
