Australia can launch a new trade boom with China, Farrell says

London | Trade Minister Don Farrell hopes to unleash up to $100 billion in new two-way trade with China once the final political roadblocks – unresolved spats over wine and lobster exports – are dismantled.

He told AFR Weekend that the latest fracas over Chinese espionage and interference in Australia was unlikely to throw up a new obstacle to his target because trade and security issues were typically largely siloed.
