Three killed in water-bomber crash as fires rage

Three Americans were killed on Thursday when their aerial water-bomber crashed near the Snowy Mountains, while Canberra Airport was closed as bushfires continued to cause havoc for emergency services.
Recent rains had helped firefighters get on top of dozens of blazes across NSW and Victoria, but strong winds and hotter temperatures inflamed the situation on Thursday.
