Ignore the blizzard of competing multibillion-dollar estimates about the cost of nuclear power into Australia’s energy mix versus greater reliance on renewables.

All that expert modelling depends on a range of assumptions that are – at best – highly contestable. Pick your preference or, perhaps, your prejudice. The gap between confident prediction and the uncertainties of future energy reality only gets larger as the time frame increases.
