Labor pumps $2b into green bank despite Trump’s fossil fuel push

The Albanese government has directed an extra $2 billion to its green bank to boost momentum in clean energy investment just as the sector faces headwinds from the new Trump administration in the US.
The new funding is the first for the Clean Energy Finance Corporation’s general purpose fund since the organisation was set up in 2012 with $10 billion from the then Labor government.
