As furious debate rages like a wildfire across the nation about precisely who or what is to blame for the severity of the current bushfires, make sure you have prepared a proper Debate Survival Plan. There are six critical steps to preparing your own Bushfire Debate Survival Plan.

1. Don’t discuss it over dinner: Many families find that it is best to avoid discussing anything to do with the causes of the current bushfires over dinner with the family. This is because this is the only time the kids don’t actually have their faces buried in their iPhones so there is a strong risk that they may join in (however briefly) an intergenerational discussion.
