Australia is a highly “attractive target for active and malicious” cyber threats, new Telstra boss Vicki Brady warns, as top chief executives agonise over the growing tensions with China and the serious risks their companies face.

“Cybersecurity is not just an issue for government – everybody is at risk,” Ms Brady, in her first week in the job, told The Australian Financial Review. “The global cyber threat environment has intensified.”
